Congratulations!!! You have successfully gained access to my website designed to keep students and parents informed on what is happening in my classroom.
I am thrilled to be starting my fourth year here at Elkins Pointe Middle School. Previously I was teaching High School Biology, Chemistry and Physical Science. I believe that I have found my niche. I thrive off of the enthusiasm that middle school students bring to the classroom.

Background...
I recently got married! And as you can tell from the expression on our faces, we are ecstatic!!! My wife is also a teacher. She teaches 1st grade at Mimosa Elementary.
I am originally from Vilseck, Germany. My father served in the United States Army for 22 Years. He currently teaches middle school math and social studies. My mother is also an educator and is currently teaching elementary school, as well as my sister. I guess you can say teaching is in my blood!!!
After moving to Atlanta, GA my family and I settled in Fayettville, GA where I attended and graduated from Fayette County High School. I then attended Valdosta State University, where I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Biology and later completed my broad-field science teacher certification and TAG endorsement. I am currently enrolled at VSU working towards my Master's in Middle Grades Math and Science.
When I'm not in the classroom shaping and molding the future of America, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
